I have no sound coming out of the browser on the remote computer firefox, opera or explorer, but the winamp can be fully controlled and the music plays just fine.  I got the latest winamp build 5.3# something.  I tried changing the direct sound to wave out and the other way around and still no sound.

I unistalled winamp and browseamp , and still nothing...

I really dont know what is going on, it use to work, any ideas of something I should check? or any known issue which may cause this?

and in any case browseamp should work even if it is under the same subnet, right?

Welcome to BrowseAmp!

BA only controls Winamp, it does not do any streaming of music. You would need the ShoutCast plugin or something similar to do that.
