Hi

I have just installed Browse Amp, and I ahve everything working fine with the exception of the cover art. Is it necessary for me to rename all of my cover art to "cover.jpg" (or whatever I put into the cover art filename box)?

Currently my art is in the form of artist album-title front-cover.jpg

I tried just listing the last part in the box (front-cover.jpg) but that does not work.

Thanks

If you use the eXtended skin, edit the file index.html located in '%WINAMPDIR%pluginsbrowseampextended'. Go to line 259 and replace this line with the following code:
<td width="1%" height="1%" background="./gfx/notavailable.gif"><a href="#Bigger" onClick="javascript:window.open('<#artist urlencoded=1>.jpg?src=<#CurrentTrackDirectory urlencoded=1>', 'Fotofenster', 'width=480,height=400,scrollbars,resizable,dependent');" title="click to enlarge"><img src="<#artist urlencoded=1><#Metadata field=album urlencoded=1> front-cover.jpg?src=<#CurrentTrackDirectory urlencoded=1>" width="<#inifile section=layout key=coverwidth default=160>" height="<#inifile section=layout key=coverheight default=160>" border="0" ></a></td>
Maybe you have to modify the <#artist urlencoded=1><#Metadata field=album urlencoded=1> front-cover.jpg expression if it does not match your cover art filenames. And make sure you use a plain text editor (e.g. proton code editor, freeware) to apply these changes.

Sometimes I get sooo frustrated. Expecially when I can't get something simple to work....

It looks like it is looking for + inbetween each word of the filename?

In any event, it is still not working. I even tried to rename the file to straight: front-cover.jpg and nothing again. Once I get it to work in any form at all, I'll adjust things here to make it fly...

Is there any way to have the plug-in look for ANY .jpg file in the folder and display it?

Yeah, this is a feature I would like to see aswell. I have all sorts og names for album front, rear and disc covers. Only thing they have in common is .jpg. And I'm a sucker for not changing things so a feature where it filters through the .jpg files in a folder like
*front*.jpg
*back*.jpg
*inlay#*.jpg
*cd*.jpg

Btw: BrowseAmp rocks!
