Today I saw the visits of my webpage exploding (>1000%). Very strange...

Then (thanks to Lee Alder) I found an article (here) about a tv show about a home MP3 player with pocket-pc remote control. It uses BrowseAmp to control Winamp playing the songs.

Because I think it's to be on tv and I unfortunately can't receive this channel where I live I would like to have an avi/mpeg of that show so I don't need to watch the thumbnail video on their webpage.

So please send me a file of that show!

Thanks a lot.

[email protected]
http://www.browseamp.com

well, of course it would, that show has about... oh say, 1,000,000+ viewers! the reason you got so many hits is because of yoshies mod. It is the same reason I came here and downloaded your plugin, and I must say I LOVE IT!

[email protected]
http://home.earthlink.net/~benk14/

Question...in the TechTV ScreenSavers program, I thought Yoshi meant that you ran the server on a system 1 and you could access it from system 2 as well as hear it on system 2. Am I incorrect in this, because I can't get it to work in that way. System 2 can pull data from system 1, but when I go to play anything only system 1 speakers have the out put. Am I missing something or did Yoshi mess up in his explanation?

[email protected]

BrowseAMP acts only as a WinAMP remote control. As you can't just hear from the remote control of your TV (you hear from the TV's speaker that is fixed on the TV device, not on the remote), same applies to BrowseAMP.
But because WinAMP is able (through another plug-in) to stream audio to a remote system, people sometimes think that BrowseAMP is a jukebox!

NOPE! WinAMP is the jukebox, BrowseAMP is the remote!

I hope this will clear the fog...

[email protected]
http://www.saxtus.gr/

I would never have known about your product, but the screen savers episode sparked a new project for me. Very nice product you have. I've built a wireless mp3 jukebox wired into my home theater with drives mapped to two other workstations. All controled by wireless laptop. Gives me the warm and fuzzy's. Thanks!

[email protected]

Same here. I found your site when i did a search on thescreensavers.com about mp3 remote control. I had the idea i wanted to do, but did not know how to accomplish it. This is great. What plugin allows you stream media to another box i would like to see it as well. Right now , i remote in to my home pc from work and listen that way.

[email protected]
