After a long time without any updates here is the latest BrowseAmp version:  BrowseAmp2.exe

I hope I can add some more requested features very soon. So please check this out and I'm looking forward for your comments.

what is new?

files to parse and their mime types are now stored in an ini file

WAP support including a simple WAP skin

HTML Tag added: <#playlist_numtracks>

new config option: suppress MsgBox if server port is already in use

some minor bugfixes
MIME Types and WAP
Now you have the option to list all filetypes to be parsed by BrowseAmp. By now HTM, HTML, XML and WML files are enlisted in the mime.ini found in the BrowseAmp directory.
To add a new file type just add the extension and the mime type in the following style:
wml=text/vnd.wap.wml
I have created a simple wap skin that comes with the new release:

<#playlist_numtracks>
Writes the total amount of tracks in the current playlist. Simple.

Have fun

:o Well... seems I forgot to copy the DLL to the installer source.
But everything should work now. I apologize for that...  :whistling:

Does this change things? If I d/l'ed and installed the last one, do I need to redo it?

I am having trouble with the WAP skin.  I know this is a stupid idea, but I changed the skin to be the WAP skin through the web interface, and now I cannot change it back.  I tried to change it with the "configure" option inside winamp->preferences->plugins->general, but when i change it there and re-start winamp, it does not seem to take effect.  Has anyone else had this problem?  I think this is an awesome plugin, by the way.

When I first started with BA, I had the same problem; I could not change the skin from the BA config. I guess when I found a workaround, I forgot to mention it!

Anyone get this to work from a phone besides Henry? :o

Right after I log in, it gives me a 500:Internal server error.
