When exactly does that message appear?
I just got it to happen (but a different number, I thnk)  using the Flash volume control. I'll keep trying to duplicate it... Just got a 437, 181, and 28 (stacked up message boxes). Bandwidth usage jumps high for a few seconds.

But I can't see it in your latest version!
Do any of the iframes refresh?  :blink:

Maybe you could add some cover art in the left frame of your skin
Is there somewhere to get it? When I rip my music with WMP, I just delete the images.

The only thing different is that I put my main skin code in a frame to make it work correctly on my end, and, I thought, every other end.

Maybe the missing link is in IE6 (what I am using)? I'll try it from my old Laptop with IE5 and Win98...

Yes, but in ttunes_display.html you used: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5">
But you should replace this line with: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5;URL=?refresh">

I also can't find any errors with IE 5

Here is the refresh fix.

Can Java switch on something like Title.length? I tried it, but, I'm not sure why it didn't work. I want to add code to keep the progress bar at the bottom of the display.

Great! Works fine.

Do you mean Java or JavaScript? These two are completely different!
But I think you can use a table with the title and the bar each in a separate cell.

And please add a readme.txt to your skin. Thats helps me publishing it...

I got some code modifications for you  ;)

change the JS code as follows:
function clickVolumeBar()
{
if(event.srcElement.id != "indicator")  // to prevent errors when clicking the indicator
 {
 var x = event.offsetX + event.srcElement.offsetLeft - indicator.width/2; // x relative to the table
 x = Math.min(Math.max(x,0),volumeBar.width);
 var mywidth = volumeBar.width;      // width of table
 document.location.href = "?volume=" + parseInt(100*x/mywidth);
 }
}

change the volume bar table as follows:
<tr>
 <td id="volumeBarLeft" width="1%"> <img src="clearpixel.gif" height="1" border="0"></td>
 <td> <img id="indicator" src="gfx/marker.gif" height="10" border="0"></td>
 <td id="volumeBarRight"><img src="clearpixel.gif" height="1" border="0"></td>
</tr>

And please copy clearpixel.gif to your skin directory.

I was going to do that tonight!  ;)

Anything else you can think of? I also want to get the display fixed for the next version (by fixed, I mean keeping the progress bar at the bottom).

Interesting! I just downloaded Opera 7.1, and, the progress bar does not work! The volume bar is also out of whack...

Yet another update! I added an album art iframe. I used MS Media Player's naming convention of "AlbumArtSmall.jpg" for the images, since that is what I use for ripping. If you use a different method, just change the ttunes_art.html file.

All of a sudden, my album art does not work! :huh: Could it be spaces in the path? I just reorganized my music for album art (folders with artist name, then, album-name folders under that, then, the song files). Wait... I still have some songs in the root with a special pic, and, that does not even show up. Rebooting didn't help, and, I didn't install anything.

Azimuth,
I love the addition of the cover art!

Can you have it download the art automatically if it does not exist?

Also, can you have an option to use a larger version of the cover art?

I'm not sure how they got there but in the Annie Lennox folder I have 5 JPGs in this format:
AlbumArt_{9843F6D5-3B60-4B09-816D-9362A85A5400}_Large.jpg
AlbumArt_{9843F6D5-3B60-4B09-816D-9362A85A5400}_Small.jpg
AlbumArtSmall.jpg

There are two _Large & _Small, one for each album... but only one AlbumArtSmall.jpg?

Thanks, Aaron!

Is there any standard place to get cover art? Larger art would require a larger player... unless a remote art window pops up. Hmm.

I've never seen filenames like those first two!
