what about a non-winamp shuffle command, which just changes the playlist. Advantages:
-Shuffle does shuffle (random order of songs, replace non-working winamp feature)
-Playlist will actually show the next songs which will be played not songs which would be played without shuffle mode.

Maybe a good idea!

I think of something like shuffling the playlist on a command and then turn off shuffle.
You get a shuffled playlist and don't need Winamp's internal shuffling algorithm.
Shuffling can be repeated when all songs are played. That would make things much easier.

I think this is a good idea ... it is kind of where I was going before you implemented the "delete after play" option which also help fix WinAmp's bad shuffle logic.
