Playlist Issues

I cant understand why nobody else sees this issue :-) I have play lists that look like all the tracks are in the correct order when i open the .m3u file in notepad and if I just double click on them winamp plays them in the correct order, but if i select that same playlist from browseamp then they play in the wrong order. Here is an example file.

In this example, if I use browseamp then it plays track 1 then track 26

I dont have shuffle turned on :-)

I tried a solution of setting the winamp option to 'read titles on load' - didn't help, tried 'sort on load' didn't help

I thought I might try winamp 3.0 instead of 2.80 but when I try to install browseamp and get to bit where you specify an installation directory the 'install button' is greyed out. Is that a issue too?

Thanks for your help, its driving me nuts

Mike

........further info, the pattern seems to be that it plays track one followed by whatever is the last track

Yes, you are right!  :(
It moves the last track in the playlist to the second position. I think this is a WinAmp bug, but I will also check my code.

Bad, news! There is nothing I can do to prevent that problem. Blame the Winamp guys...

It happens to all 2.xx versions?
Can you apply evasive actions?

I did not implement moving songs yet. So there is no way for now, sorry  :(

I don't know if it happens to all versions. I use 2.78. Maybe 2.81 is better. Please tell!

I believe you - but i'm curious how its a winamp bug since if I just go to the local machine where winamp is and double click the m3u file it works fine, I only get the issue when trigger it remotely with browseamp

Yes, very stange! It's exactly the same with my Winamp.

All I do is say Winamp to load this file, just like every other *.mp3 or whatever.

It might be BrowseAMP or it might be bug on the WinAMP plug-in engine.
Until BrowseAMP's playlist i capable of changing order to the songs, this can't be fixed.

Henry must find time to implement it and it isn't simple.
Probably it will not be there before Henry leaves (see forum's calendar)

Thank you.
