So you need a remote control for the remote control... ok...
However, this is possible with some JavaSrcipt you can use in every Browseamp skin. http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=javascript+hotkey found some useful ressources.

QCD does not support some tag so you have to stick with winamp if you want all features.

New skin in 3 steps:

1. Develop an idea how your skin should look like and what functionality it must have.
2. Take an already existing skin that fits most of your requirements (see 1)
3. Add extended functionality (see 1) that can not be found somewhere else (see 2). There are thousands of HTML/Scripting forums on the net.

You can minimize Winamp to tray. I don't think many user configure their server ten times a day so I think may users do not miss this function.

I also planned that last winter but I had some other things to do and I do not code during the summer since I prefer to be somewhere outside when I'm not in the office. Maybe this winter...

I can confirm the crash with this stream. I will have a look at it, since it is BrowseAmp related. I'll give some more information asap.

BrowseAmp does cache the files in the music folder. See http://www.thasler.org/BrowseAmpGT3/help/help_basics.html#… topic "general" and "music folder" for setup and details.

Thank's for your appreciation.

I really can't understand what the problem is. There is nothing irregular with the browser window. Maybe it's an IE problem since I use Firefox.

XML is not that difficult as it may sound. Take it as some special html file with another extension. Just have a look at the files and you will understand how it works. I can also give you some explanations if necessary.
I am also not a flash expert. It was my first try. Therefore I have no good solution how to make the file browser and media library stuff. The playlist is really poor so far.

There is a new command called repeatall (see http://www.thasler.org/BrowseAmpGT3/help/help_skins_links2…) that toggles between all three possible states. So this is just a matter of proper skin design/code.

Anyway, I have modified and attached (in a zip file) the index.html just for you. Just unzip to %WINAMPDIR%\plugins\browseamp\exteded and you can toggle between all three states.

I appreciate your review. Thanks!

As of now, my to-do list contains the randomize playlist function.

The media library is not yet implemented in the flash skin (as well as the file browser), but I wanted to share it in this unfinished state so others can use and maybe extend it because I lack the time...

Subject: BrowseAmp Flash Skin
Hello all,

the latest BrowseAmp release 3.1 comes with a newly designed XML-based Flash skin created by me. The Flash source is included so feel free to modify/extend it. I am also looking forward for any discussions about creating Flash Skins.

This may be a problem with Vista. Since I do not have a Vista installation I could not test it.
1st: Can you please search your Harddrive where Winamp is installed (eg c:) for a file named "winamp.m3u" and post the path here.

2nd: Please post the content of the paths.ini in the Winamp installation directory.

As a workaround, you can try to delete the paths.ini.
